Learning to draw and paint accurately from life is fundamental to any artistic training.

At the Sarum Studio, poses are sustained for one or two weeks, which promotes the opportunity for a comprehensive enquiry into line and proportion, colour and modelling. Having achieved a certain level of proficiency in drawing, students begin painting using the limited palette.

When possible, Nick will paint or draw with the class to demonstrate by example.
