Summer School

The Sarum Studio runs a popular six-week summer school from the second half of July until the end of August. It offers an ideal introduction to sight-size for beginners, while returning students develop new skills through the challenge of more ambitious projects. Students work from the life model each morning, then cast or portrait projects in the afternoon according to experience. The last two weeks of the summer school are devoted to sculpture under the tutorage of Alastair Barford and Jason Arkles.
